CMOSH Nursing Institute and College
This project was started in the year 1990. Every year 25 SSC passed students were enrolled. All the qualified nurses are employed in this hospital on a regular basis. It is well-established fact that without high standard skilled nursing care patient management is not complete. Since nurses are the backbone of a Hospital, the authorities have paid outmost importance in this regard.
In January 2008 with the approval of the Government of Bangladesh a full fledged Nursing institute was started. 25 students are enrolled for a 3 year course in “Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery”. Prerequisite for enrollment is HSC in Science/Commerce. This important and prestigious project of Chattagram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital is carried out as per the national curriculum of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
In January 2015 approval of 50 students are enrolled.
Management
Nursing Training Centre has been in operation since 1990 and all nurses have been absorbed in CMSOGH as staff nurse. Presently the CHATTAGRAM MAA-O-SHISHU HOSPITAL Nursing Institute is offering a three year course curriculum on ‘Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery’, which is duly approved by the Bangladesh Nursing Council.
Service Of Fund
There are at present about 9053 Life Members of the hospital who elect a committee of 20 members every
3 years to run the hospital, there is also an elected governing body to look after the affairs of the medical
college The committee is then sub grouped to manage the various functions of the hospital. The policies and the
decisions of the various committees are implemented through the officers and other staff of the hospital...
